Kendra Brevelle
Kendra began writing and managing State grants in 2002. Then, in 2005, she moved to the nonprofit sector where she gained the experience and knowledge to lead effective organizations. She served as Regional Director for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Continuum of Care (CoC) program, as well as CEO of a local nonprofit organization for 10 years. It was during this time that she gained experience in capital outlay projects, community development block grants, and capital campaigns. Kendra has successfully secured over $10 million in funding for Louisiana-based organizations, demonstrating her deep understanding of the state's funding landscape and commitment to community development.
As a result of this success, in 2015, Kendra was recognized as one of “Cenla’s Inaugural 20 Under 40 Young Professionals”. Then, in 2018, the nonprofit she managed was named “Best Nonprofit Organization” by the Cenla Chamber of Commerce.
Kendra’s passion for community development and fundraising, along with a strong track record of success, led her to launch Mission Boost in 2019 to help other community organizations achieve their greatest goals.

Blake Brevelle
Blake brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to service in his role as Project Manager at Mission Boost. A longtime community leader and husband to Mission Boost’s founder, Kendra, Blake is integral to the organization’s success, driving its mission with purpose and dedication.
His ability to manage big-picture logistics while caring for the smallest details ensures that Mission Boost’s projects are not only well-executed but deeply impactful. As a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Blake dedicates most of his time to supporting individuals in healthcare. But when he's not wearing his scrubs, his passion for helping others shines through in his community work—organizing large-scale retreats, raising thousands for local causes, cooking meals for neighbors in need, and serving on nonprofit boards.
Blake leads with heart and shows up with purpose. Whether he’s behind the scenes managing operations or out front supporting the community, he’s a driving force behind Mission Boost’s mission to empower and uplift.
